Secto Design was born in Finland in 1995 thanks to the minds of Tuula Jusélius and Seppo Koho. Both animated by a passion for innovative design and wood, they decided to create a Scandinavian-style furniture collection. The success, raised the need to create lamps and lighting systems that could interact coherently within these environments. Thus was born the 4200 pendant lamp, made of Scandinavian wood, consecrated as the backbone of the brand and that has become its timeless bestseller. All Secto Design collections are made entirely in Finland with techniques of local craftsmanship; they are characterized by sobriety, clean and essential lines, as well as the precious wood used, birch. The latter is transported within the factories only from short distances, to significantly reduce the environmental impact. The brand initially envisaged the use of energy-saving light bulbs for its lamps, but to date most of the creations are characterized by LED technology. The sobriety and timelessness of the Secto Design collections has met with enormous success worldwide.
